Henry & Henry is one of the leading manufacturers of quality fruit and creme fillings, icings, glazes and other specialty products for the baking industry in North America. In addition, we are a major supplier to the ice cream industry producing quality fudges, syrups, variegates and ice cream bases.
Henry & Henry was founded in Buffalo, New York in 1899 by brothers Charles and Frederick Henry. Gerald Henry, the son of Charles managed the business until his retirement in the early 1980's. The company was incorporated in 1922 and moved to a Bailey and Northland Avenue location in the early 1930's.
Recognizing the need to keep up with continuing growth, in 1982 the company purchased an existing facility in Lancaster, New York on Walden Avenue and began adding to and modifying this complex into a 115,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. We transferred all operations from our location in Buffalo to Lancaster in 1983. In 1992 we expanded the freezer/cold storage capacity with a 15,000 square foot addition. In 1993 we purchased an additional 2.1 acres of adjoining land for future expansion. Currently, we occupy 9.5 acres of property. In 1994 Henry & Henry was acquired by the Dutch company CSM, and incorporated into the family of H.C Brill products - a food company with compatible marketing and product strategies.
Our product line continues to evolve and grow reflecting our strong reputation for quality, reliability and value ... our tradition. |
